As most of the members on our team, I have been interested in the paranormal for a long time. I have had a few experiences throughout my lifetime and have always wanted to know more. It is nice to belong to a group that actually scientifically investigates the part of life(or death) that mainstream science has often ignored or casts off as a figment of the imagination. I look forward to learning more and participating with a group of people with similar interests and experiences.

Although I have never had any personal experiences in the paranormal and consider myself a skeptic, I am open to learning and discovering new theories. I am proud to be part of a research group that looks scientifically into these abnormalities. Through our investigations with ARPAST, maybe someday I will become a believer!

I can remember odd things happening to me sporadically while growing up. Like most people, I tried brushing it off as the result of an overactive imagination or being tired. I have an extensive background in the natural sciences, and thus have been conditioned to be rather skeptical of things until I can obtain proof of their existence. I stopped telling people about the things that happened, because they would look at me like I was nuts. Most of the events I've experienced are things like precognitive dreams and premonitions. Some of the dreams scared the living daylights out of me because they were about people dying. The same people I pictured did, in fact, die EXACTLY as I imagined, and at the time I thought they would. It was even accurate right down to the clothes I had on when I learned of the deaths.

My daughter, who's 11, has had a couple of paranormal experiences as well. My grandmother died when I was 4, so my daughter never got a chance to see her. She'd never even seen her in a photo, either. One day, I was going through some old family things when I came across a picture of my grandma. Imagine my surprise when my daughter screams that was the lady she saw in the hall at the hospital a couple of months before, telling her to go to the chapel to pray (for my uncle who was dying).

I hope that by joining ARPAST, I will be able to gain scientific insight as to why paranormal events occur. I look forward to working with the ARPAST team!

My name is Maria, I have a husband and two wonderful children. I have always had paranormal things happen in my life, my husband does not believe in the paranormal so he kind of thinks im crazy but...thats okay with me. I recently went to see Carol Pate and she informed me that spirts tend to cover me due to I am so sensitive and that my daughter see's dead people. I have known a lot of this for a long time and I am wanting to see more, hopefully eventually we will be able to explain what we experience.

have been interested in the paranormal for as far back as I can remember. I started investigating around 1998 by doing cemetary hunts. In 2004 I moved to Savannah Georgia for about 8 months, this really peaked my interest in the paranormal as Savannah is one of the most haunted cities in the country. In early 2005 I helped start Texarkana Paranormal Investigators where I attended several investigations with ARPAST. I recently decided that I needed to move forward in my pursuit of knowledge in this field and decided to join ARPAST fully. I look forward to many more investigations with ARPAST.

I'm very excited about joining ARPAST. I have always been curious about the paranormal but over the past year my interest has really grown. I look forward to working with a group of people that share this common interest. I've worked in non-profit for the past 6 years and enjoy volunteering for several local organizations in my free time.

I am a manager and system administrator for a finance company in Little Rock. I am married with two boys ages 10 and 7. I have been interested in the paranormal since I was a small child. My interest has peaked in the past year with the success of the show "Ghost Hunters" and by some personal experiences I have had. First I bought a house on Petit Jean mountain about 14 years ago. The house is over 60 years old. To the best of my knowledge, two people had passed away in this house. When I first bought the house, much of the furniture was still here from the previous owner. Specifically there was a bed in the front bedroom that a woman, who was a live in nurse for the elderly woman who lived here, passed away in. Her name to my understanding was Jane. The family gradually removed the furniture over the first six months that I lived here. We had an in house dog at that time who would go and stare at that bed and bark. Even if the door to the bedroom was closed, the dog would growl and bark at the door. On two separate occasions, we actually witnessed what seemed to be a green mist coming under the bedroom door. Once the family removed the furniture, nothing at all happened again until about a year ago. I witnessed a woman walking out of that bedroom and into the bedroom directly across the hall. I was home alone. A few months later a woman walked into the bathroom behind me and then disappeared. I was ready to dismiss these instances as my imagination or just being tired until one day about 5 months ago. My 10 year old son and I were home alone. He was sitting on a sofa watching TV where he also had a clear view down the hallway where the bedroom is. I heard him yell and he came running into the kitchen where I was. He had a terrified look on his face and he said he had seen a man walk out of that bedroom and into the room directly across the hall. I went and investigated but as before when I had seen the woman, there was nothing there. I decided there is too much of a coincidence that my son and I had both seen something in the same spot. I have no idea why he saw a man when I saw a woman. I have not been able to capture any evidence in my home outside of personal experiences. I look forward to working with Arpast to find some answers because the truth is out there!
