I had experiences as a little girl growing up that could never be explained.
I have always been interested in the paranormal and as I have grown up have
decided that I want to further my own understanding of what I experienced as
well as the experiences of others. I am a history and religions major and
believe that a deeper understanding of the unexplained and unknown will give
me more knowledge and self understanding than that of which is known. I
believe there is no better team with which to do so than the ARPAST team. |

I never have believed in "ghosts" but began going to investigations with my
daughter to spend time with her. In doing so, I have met some intelligent
and interesting people who approach the investigations with professionalism,
skepticism, and a desire to seek the truth. Because of this, I have become
interested in finding the truth also. I have had a couple of experiences
which I would have dismissed in the past, but now am interested in learning
more about. The ARPAST team is surperb & I look forward to working with everyone
to find the answers we're looking for. |

I have been interested in the paranormal from childhood. My father was a researcher and writer for the Fate Magazine, and I inherited his passion to learn and study the paranormal from him. I feel there must be some scientific basis for people’s experiences that we just don’t know yet. The experiences I have encountered are limited. And I am also a bit of a skeptic. I have taken different classes and workshops trying to grasp a better understanding of paranormal activities over about 14 years now. It has been pretty interesting hearing some of the researchers theories of their investigations. I don't have very much of a background in this field, but I am excited to be a part and learn more with ARPAST. |

I have grown up hearing all kinds of stories from others about paranormal phenomenon. I love the story telling, but I always question if there could be a non-paranormal explanation of what happened. I have not had a personal experience with the paranormal and I will be a skeptic until it happens. Working with ARPAST I hope to gain the knowledge and experience to answer my own question of "was there anything non-paranormal that could have caused it happen." |

Hi! My name is Kendra. I am a DJ for a country station in Texarkana, AR. I have always had a fascination with the paranormal but definetly want to look at it from a scientific approach. I think too often people write things off as paranormal instead of trying to find a logical explanation. I think knowledge is power and look forward to the training that ARPAST offers. At this point, I've not really had a paranormal experience, but I'm curious. :) |

Like most everyone here I have been interested in the paranormal as well as science for as long as I can remember. Having had a couple of "unexplainable" personal experiences myself I have been left with a number of questions. I believe that the scientific approach that ARPAST uses offers the best opportunity to explain the unexplainable. I am very excited to be part of a group of like-minded individuals who aren't just out to scare themselves but to honestly investigate claims of paranormal activity. I hope that my interest and dedication to this field of study along with my experience with audio and video equipment will make me a useful and productive member of the group. |

I've been interested in the paranormal for almost 10 years now. My interest first started when I noticed that sometimes I just know things about people or places without having met them or been there before - and I can later have these things confirmed. At times I get the feeling that I'm not alone (when I am) and shortly after get a "pins and needles" sensation. After checking into this I've come to realize it's called being "sensitive." Personally I'm not sure what it is and that's a big part of my reason for wanting to join ARPAST - to help explain things I feel, see, hear, or "know" in a scientific manner. I also have quite a few paranormal experiences that I would love to share so feel free to send an email and say hi! |
